Prime Video has released the official trailer for its epic family saga, The House of the Spirits, the first tv adaptation of Isabel Allende’s iconic novel.
Allende’s book is inspired by her family’s history and Chilean governmental events, including nan 1973 Chilean coup, successful which Allende’s uncle, Salvador Allende, was overthrown.

The eight-episode Spanish-language bid centers connected 3 generations of women—Clara, Blanca, and Alba—in a blimpish South American state shaped by people struggle, governmental upheaval, and magic, per nan logline.
