Evoke Entertainment Signs Tribeca-Honored Filmmaker Elisee Junior St. Preux

EXCLUSIVE: Evoke Entertainment has signed Haitian American filmmaker Elisee Junior St. Preux, whose debut feature The Tropic Sun and His Eyes world premiered successful Tribeca’s Viewpoints conception and earned a Special Jury Mention for Best New Narrative Director.

Shot wholly successful Haiti’s bluish Cap-Haïtien region, The Tropic Sun and His Eyes follows a young man attempting to reconnect pinch his estranged father, guided by a thoroughfare kid who becomes an unexpected companion. The Tribeca assemblage cited St. Preux’s activity for its affectional clarity, ocular confidence, and nan emergence of a chopped caller directing voice.

St. Preux antecedently premiered his short Aurinko successful Adagio at Tribeca and is an HBO Short Film Award recipient, Sundance Ignite Finalist, and NAACP Image Awards nominee.
